My client is a construction business offering services in Commercial Construction for Government, hospitality, retail and industrial sectors to name a few.

Our client has built a reputation of honesty and integrity, working on commercial developments throughout Australia with plenty of repeat business.

Currently, I have an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to join the team on an initial 6-month contract for an education project in Brisbane.

Your responsibilities and experience

• Ideally, you will have a tertiary grade qualification and approx. 5+ years’ experience working on a variety of commercial projects within the local market. A network of established clients and stakeholders will be highly regarded.
• Scoping, scheduling, and letting out tender packages to subcontractors and suppliers
• Estimating tasks including measuring and completing takeoffs
• Cost planning, forecasting, and reporting
• Issuing of purchase orders
• Processing invoices and monthly progress claims
• Processing variations, EOTs, RFIs, and general correspondence to subcontractors, authorities, and clients
• Processing various permit applications
• Liaising with site foremen and subcontractors on a daily basis
• Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, superintendents, building and land surveyors, and quantity surveyors
• Programming and scheduling of trades and subcontractor

You will be a self-motivated, first-rate communicator, confident in your abilities to effectively liaise with a range of stakeholders from subcontractors to your client. Most importantly, your attitude must reflect our client's hands-on approach and positive culture.
