    This 6-month fixed term contract role will see you reporting to the Senior Systems Analyst, supporting the company’s ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains (GP) that is used to make business decisions and actions. Your priorities will be to ensure the smooth running of GP for the users and assist with any support related queries that arise.

    You will assist, maintain and improve the GP experience for the users. Not only will you maintain GP for continuous improvement, you will also help grow it with the company.

    Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Maintenance of GP including access rights, new users, security and company settings.
    • To provide support in report writing and obtaining data extracts for all departments across the business.
    • To ensure Bank Reconciliation, Fixed Assets, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivables and stock systems are correctly running in tandem with the general ledger and be able to support all these areas.
    • To provide assistance where possible on other integrations e.g. SmartConnect, Integration Manager etc.
    • To support new users on GP as required.
    • Creation & Modifications of Stored Procedures and SSIS Packages
    • Support and maintenance of previously delivered business project applications.
    • Be available for on-call support as required.
    • Apply hotfixes when required.
    • Assist with upgrades.
    About You

    To be successful in this role you will possess the following attributes:

    • Experience working with GP, Microsoft SQL SSRS, SSIS, Stored Procedures, Views, Functions, etc
    • High level methodologies and processes for managing complex databases.
    • Ability to analyse existing tools and databases and provide or recommend software solutions.
    • Excellent problem solving and analytical skills and the ability to engage and influence stakeholders.
    • Handling support of general ledgers, debits, credits and journals
    • Intermediate to Advanced skills with various platforms such as MS Office suite (Excel).
    • Highly developed written and oral communication skills with excellent attention to detail.
    • Excellent time management and organisational skills with an ability to meet tight deadlines.
    • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team and work autonomously with limited guidance.
    • Reconciliation and problem-solving skills
