This innovative tech start-up develop a range of products and solutions for the farming and agriculture sector. This includes but not limited to GPS cattle tracking devices as well as a Smart Farm platform. They use IoT technology to create a world where food is produced in a smart, productive, and sustainable manner.

Over the last 18 months they have grown exponentially and are now looking to open up International markets. This has resulted in the requirement for an Account Manager / Business Development Manager (BDM) to manage and develop existing ANZ clients.

We are looking for a hands on and service-oriented person to maintain existing client relationships and acquire new customers. For this role, we are looking for someone who:

  • Builds and maintains client relationships
  • Proactively pursues new business and sales opportunities
  • Identifies customer problems and provide appropriate solutions
  • Proactively follows up leads and reach’s out to understand customers’ problems
  • Works closely with inbound sales to solve issues quickly
  • Interacts with other team members to resolve customer issues
  • Provides internal feedback regarding recurring issues (e.g. GPS ear-tag issues, internal miscommunication) that can affect customer satisfaction.
  • Conducts market research to identify new client opportunities

This is your chance to get in early, make your mark and long-term built out a sales team. You will initially be handed a number of key accounts to grow as well as looking out for new opportunities.

Ideally, you will have either technology sales experience or knowledge and experience selling to the farming and agriculture sectors.
