Groove Tiles & Stone are seeking a casual Sales/Design Consultant to join sales team based at our leading edge Showroom Albion. Previous sales experience within the tile and stone industry will be highly regarded however not essential for this position. Ideally your customer service skills and ability to design creatively with colour and textures will be a strength.

PURPOSE OF THIS ROLE:

As a critical member of the Groove Team the Sales/Design Consultant works collaboratively to provide customers with a caring, consistent, professional and solution focused service from tile concept to completion. Empowered, supported and encouraged by a proactive and progressive management team the Sales/Design Consultant will utilise their strengths to build their capabilities and grow their career.

ABOUT THE PERSON IN THIS ROLE:

You enjoy greeting and warmly welcoming customers as they visit our showroom. You have excellent communication skills which you employ effectively with customers by listening and asking questions to understand their needs and earn their trust. You appreciate working with an exclusive, stylish product range in a state-of the-art setting. You relish in the challenge and excitement of new products continuously being introduced and take pride in how they are displayed and presented. You love using your technical expertise to help customers with their design challenges by demonstrating the application and value of our unique, quality products. Your flair for colour and passion for interior design allows you to inspire customers and coordinate and recommend creative tile design concepts.

The successful applicant will have the following capabilities and experience:

• Creative flair for colour and design
• Confident, friendly, positive approach with excellent communication skills
• Be a good, continuous learner, eager to acquire and share product information
• Be well organised
• Have previous successful sales experience
• Personal interest in interior design and building supplies
• Able to work a casual roster including Saturdays and Sundays

Training will be provided for this exciting career opportunity.
