Qualified Bushland officers required for an immediate start within private business in Melbourne

Your new company

This private subcontractor operates across all of Melbourne. They hold contracts for Melbourne Water, Parks Victoria and a number of other private and local council contracts. Currently there is a seasonal requirement for an experienced NRM/bushland team member to work across various locations in central Melbourne.

Your new role

As part of this experienced team, you will work to manage and restore the bushland and native environment. Your duties and responsibilities will include;

• Vegetation management along waterways, foreshores and open spaces
• Strong plant and weed identification
• Weed management including chainsaw work, brushcutting, spraying
• Working cohesively in a team

  What you'll need to succeed

  The successful candidate must hold the following licences, tickets and qualifications:

• Certificate III or Diploma in Conservation and Land Management
• Drivers licence
• ACUP ticket
• Chainsaw ticket
• Level 2 First Aid (desirable)
