Your new role
The primary purpose of the position of the Solution Architect is to analyse the existing business application landscape, and define and execute a roadmap for the implementation of a modern, reliable, scalable and integrated business application environment. Including defining the architecture, modules, interfaces, and data for a system to satisfy strategic and operational goals and objectives; and ensuring business applications and their integrations align with organisational needs, and the behaviour of applications used in the organisation focused on how they interact with each other and with users, including defining the interaction between application packages, databases, and middleware systems in terms of functional coverage
What you'll need to succeed
- Minimum 8 years technical architecture and design experience; it is a mandatory requirement that they can complete technical designs (infrastructure, network, security, operations) as needed to enable build activities.
- Requires someone with significant technical experience across all technology domains (infrastructure (including IaaS; preferably Azure), network, security, operations)
- In addition to the above experience in traditional technology domains, substantive experience in modern technology areas such as Office 365, collaboration suites, and unified communications with a solid understanding of functional capabilities and business benefits in these areas
- A flexible individual who will thrive in a dynamic organisational environment and has an enthusiasm for addressing unexpected new challenges at short notice.
- A natural leader who shows innovation, strategic thinking, and commercial acumen
- A high level of energy, commitment, organisation, and an ability to work under pressure in a fast-changing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline
