JOB DESCRIPTION

Does this sound like you?

  • Are you a psychologist who is ready to make an even greater impact through leading a team of highly skilled clinicians?
  • Want to be part of a thriving private practice that cares personally about each team member?
  • Love the idea of leading a team autonomously whilst having great support as part of a management team?
  • Keen to put into practice your great ideas about what practitioners really need to thrive?

A Little More About You ...

  • You have great clinical skills
  • You enjoy leading a team and contributing to its success
  • You communicate clearly, promptly and honestly
  • You bring energy and a problem-solving attitude
  • You're excellent at implementation
  • You value ongoing learning
  • You take ownership of managing your work and your time, seeking support as needed
  • You're flexible and practical

Our clinicians are busy doing great work with clients of all ages from Monday to Saturday across a wide range of therapy and assessment services, including couples and families. We’re looking for a Clinical Team Leader to support our fantastic team in their work and help us further develop our team culture and clinical excellence. This fulltime role will initially include 2 days per week seeing clients.

As an established and thriving practice, we have in place all the good things you would expect - awesome administration support led by our Practice Manager, beautiful rooms including a large staff room, a great reputation in the community, and a strong referral base. We have big plans for broadening our service delivery in general mental health care and also in specific areas we care deeply about including trauma, autism, and child therapy. We're currently located in Canning Vale and we're looking forward to sharing our magic in other suburb locations.

We’re acutely aware of the potential for burnout amongst private practice clinicians and this role is an essential part of our commitment to caring for our team whilst growing our practice. We encourage our psychologists to focus on doing the work they love and this will also apply to the Team Leader role. As part of our management team, you will have regular support from the Practice Directors and Practice Manager who share a commitment to personal and professional wellbeing.
