JOB DESCRIPTION
During the Pastry Cooking Apprenticeship, you will be working full time 38 hours per week while studying a Certificate III in Cake & Pastry.
You would be gaining experience in the workplace with one of our host employers. Duties may include but not limited to:
- Cook, mix, bake, fill, ice and decorate all kinds of cakes and pastries
- Operate and monitor baking equipment
- Glaze and decorate with icing or cream
- Any other tasks requested by the host employer
Applicants will ideally meet the following criteria:
- Be eligible to complete an apprenticeship
- Be well presented, enthusiastic, reliable and punctual
- Be motivated with a positive attitude
- Drivers licence and own transport
