How will I help?

The Westpac Group - Private Banking - helps successful individuals manage, protect and grow their wealth. Our goals are to provide exceptional, differentiated service to High Net Worth (HNW) clients and to achieve strong, sustainable growth across the Westpac Group, St George and Bank of Melbourne.

You’ll Partner closely with our internal Private Bankers who Service the Lending needs of our High Net Worth Individuals. You will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end lending process.

What do I need?

We’re looking for a team player with experience in preparing, evaluating and structuring lending credit submissions that range from basic through to complex transactions.

We'd love you to have most of the following experience and competencies:

  • Strong analytical skills, credit awareness and quality risk assessment;
  • Problem solving and decision making skills;
  • High level written and verbal communication skills;
  • Strong commercial thinking skills balanced with risk management to ensure delivery of client / business outcomes within a regulatory framework; and
  • Understanding of credit, risk and compliance principles.
A background in financial statement analysis (cash flow analysis is desirable) and exposure to wealth, insurance and equities products is desirable but not essential.
