JOB DESCRIPTION

Overview Of The Role

Reporting directly to the Office Manager, you will have experience in day to day HR administation including the creation of contracts, amendment letters, onboarding employees and maintaining records via the HRIS. Knowledge of Modern Awards is essential.

With the ability to work without supervision, you will perform general HR administration duties and will provide support to the wider Brisbane business. This is a 12 month maternity leave contract with the potential for progression, based in Brisbane CBD.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all administrative requirements associated with new and existing employees including the preparation of contracts (new offers, extensions and amendments), all in accordance with internal compliance requirements and particular Modern Award agreements
  • Ensure new starters have successfully signed and returned their new starter packs and completed all relevant WorkPro assessments prior to commencing
  • Assist the compliance department by ensuring all relevant on-boarding documentation is uploaded onto the database accordingly
  • Liaise regularly with other internal departments (including HR, Payroll and Credit) to ensure all requirements are met for a smooth on-boarding process for new starters
  • Assist the Office Manager with the organisation of various events throughout the year
  • Develop and provide regular reports and statistics for staff at all levels, including updating weekly internal reports
  • Engage with contractors on a scheduled basis providing exceptional customer service and support
Key Requirements
  • Experience working in a high-volume administration environment
  • Knowledge of Modern Awards preferred
  • Intermediate level Excel skills
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently with minimal supervision
  • High attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
