JOB DESCRIPTION
- Brisbane based Interstate Driver
- Paid load and unload, excess wait time & roadside assist
- Site Agreement competitive km rate
We have a full-time position for an experienced professional and reliable MC driver who is passionate about the transport industry and highly focused on safety.
Duties
- Hauling general freight
- Travelling to various clients' sites and preparing trucks to be unloaded/loaded (i.e. loosen straps/chains or tie down equipment)
- Completion of pre-start checks
- Preparation and completion of log book requirements
- General housekeeping
- MC licence with a minimum of 2 years on road interstate driving experience
- Knowledge & experience with load restraint procedures
- Experience working with general freight particularly steel & timber highly regarded
- Safe driving record expected -able to provide a current RTA printout & valid licence
- BFM Accreditation desirable however full training provided if required
