DSi Professionals is a rapidly expanding IT Services business working as part of S-Core Group of companies in the IT, Digital and HR sectors with offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane and Newcastle.

The Business Development Manager (BDM) will be responsible for the development and creation of new business through existing and new relationships in the state of Queensland.

This will be the first BDM position for Queensland, with more to follow in our expanding business that's won multi-million dollar government contracts in 2020. You will have access to our sister company management team who operate within Digital, Blockchain and IT recruitment sectors to also look at cross-selling strategies.

Responsibilities
Increase Sales revenue and gross profits
Developing growth strategies and plans
Manage and retain relationships with existing clients
Increasing client base
Write business Proposals and SOWs
Negotiate with stakeholders
Identify and map out business strengths and customer needs
Research business opportunities and viable income streams
Follow industry trends locally and internationally
Report on successes and areas needing improvements
Collaborate with our sister companies and partner businesses for cross-selling opportunities
Lead negotiations on all terms and final agreements with new customers and partners; including terms of service, financial considerations, constraints and delivery.
Responsible for timely reporting of the prospect pipeline status, prospect and partner interaction, sales activity, market trends, and performance to plan of established ventures.
Skills and Knowledge
Have in-depth knowledge of the Queensland technology market and how to present a value proposition
Ability to manage the business development function successfully, working with limited direction.
Excellent verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
Excellent customer service mindset
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel and represent the firm professionally, both internally and externally.
Excellent level of professionalism and ethics, a person who thinks and acts at the senior level.
Proven leadership in consistently increasing revenue and profitability.
Proven ability to identify potential strategic partners, alliances and relationships to expand profitability and existing channels.
The ability to self-motivate and motivate a team
