JOB DESCRIPTION

Our client is a National industry leader delivering exceptional electrical, telecommunications and HVAC solutions across a large portfolio of commercial and industrial projects.

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed Junior Administration Assistant to join their large, modern QLD office based in Brisbane's Southern suburbs - Great opportunity to work close to the highway and avoid the city traffic.

Working closely to the Senior Projects Administrator, this position a best suited someone who is proficient in the use of Microsoft Office programs, confident in their computer skills, ability to learn new skills and a strong attention to detail.

Primary Objective
In the position of Junior Administration Assistant you will provide administrative support to the projects team. You will provide a high level of support to both internal and external customers, maintain a professional demeanor.

Day to day responsibilities will include:
Processing documentation for procurement of project plant and equipment
Processing subcontactor purchase orders and financial support documentation
Preparation and review of project documentation
Accurate data entry, formatting documents, processing and filing paperwork
General and ad hoc administrative support duties as required

The Candidate
The successful candidate for this position will be highly organised, process driven and meticulous in their work output.

You will have previous administrative support experience, ideally within the construction or associated industries, you will also demonstrate the following skills and attributes:

Pro-active and responsible whilst multi-tasking daily
Positive attitude and attention to detail including understanding and following directions

Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative and the ability to work independently

Methodical processes and conscientious
Effective communication skills
Professional attitude and excellent work ethic
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
