About Us

Wild dolphin Massage & Beauty, located on beautiful Moreton Island, is looking for a motivated and experienced Massage & Beauty Therapist to join the team.

Moreton Island is the 3rd largest sand island in the world, and is a sub-tropical paradise - complete with wide open beaches, an abundance of wildlife, and plenty of outdoor activities. Uniquely, we are only 1 hour and 15 minutes ferry launch away from Brisbane, the state capital for Queensland.

The Role
The successful applicant will have a combination of massage and beauty skills or Diploma, Cert 4 In Massage Therapy, with a passion for customer service and teamwork. Demonstrated experience in delivering a variety of services will be vital in succeeding in this role; therefore all applicants must hold a Diploma of Beauty Therapy, Diploma or Cert 4 In Massage therapy or equivalent.

While being primarily focused on massage & beauty, the role may require some customer service and store duties where required.

If interested there are opportunities to work in other departments (tour bookings office, water-sports, dolphin feeding)

The Applicant
The successful applicant must have:

• Diploma of Beauty Therapy, Diploma or Cert 4 In Massage Therapy
• A desire to make clients feel their best;
• Solid teamwork and customer service skills;

Additional desirable skills include:

• First Aid Certificate (Provide First Aid);
• Experience in pregnancy massage;
• Previous work experience;

*Ideally this is live on island position, however if you are interested in weekend work only, please get in touch as can be flexible with work arrangements*

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Casual, Permanent

Salary: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend

Supplementary Pay:

• Overtime pay

Work Eligibility:

• Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Preferred)
