Gutter-Vac Technician

Do you like to work outdoors? Are you ok with working at heights?

We are looking for a well-presented, customer service orientated technician for our vacuum gutter cleaning business.

This is a casual position, but for the right person, who demonstrates their ability to work well in a team and individually, complete tasks on time and to a high standard, and communicate well with our customers, this could lead to a full time position.

Please note: This position involves working at heights, up and down ladders and working on a roof. You must be comfortable working at heights. All safety gear will be supplied.

This can be a physically demanding role so being reasonably fit is a must.

The day to day work of this role involves operating our specialised wet/dry vacuum equipment to clean gutters of all types. We also provide a range of other services including, but not limited to, pressure washing, solar panel cleaning, tank cleaning, gutter guard installation, bird proofing and ceiling cavity cleaning. We work with both domestic and commercial customers. You will be working in a small team environment and in some cases (eg. small domestic jobs), you will be working on your own. So, we are looking for someone who is reliable, self-motivated and interested in learning a wide range of new skills.

To carry out this work, you must have:

· Full manual driver’s licence

· Working at heights certification

· National police check (if you hold already, must be no more than 12 months old)

These cards/ checks are a must have as many of our commercial clients require all technicians to hold them. Working at heights training can be provided for the right applicant if needed. Experience towing and reversing a trailer is also advantageous.

The following licences/ certifications are not required but will be advantageous:

· Construction Induction card

· EWP tickets

· Working with children check (Blue card)
