We have a large program of work within the banking domain that needs multiple resources ASAP. Please see below for individual roles.

CSA / TESTING
Feb - September Contract

Risk and Compliance generalist / testers with control assessment and uplift background
Risk and Compliance specialists with IT testing / assurance background (This is NOT Software Testing/QA)
Risk and Compliance specialists with Fin Crime testing / assurance background
Your Key Responsibilities

  • Working with clients to design, implement, assess and improve governance, risk and compliance frameworks and programs of work, with a focus on the 3 lines of defense
  • Ability to identify and map out processes along with associating underlying risks & controls
  • Preparing control test scripts & performing test of design (TOD) and test of operating effectiveness (TOE)
  • High quality reporting to detail risks & controls, including control test results and present to client partners as part of the report out
  • Researching industry leading practices related to governance, risk, and compliance and assisting in practice development activities including but not limited to client proposals, white papers and point of views

What are we looking for?
  • At least 3 - 5+ years of professional experience, preferably in a professional services environment, consulting or industry
  • A recognized university degree in accounting, business, engineering, mathematics or other relevant discipline
  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, communication, writing and presentation skills
  • Ability to develop cross-functional knowledge of risk management policies and procedures adhering to Regulators as well as specific internal corporate requirements
  • Ability to work efficiently with all levels of staff and handle confidential information discretely & expertly.

VALUE CHAIN MAPPING & RISK ASSESSMENT 
Feb - September Contract

Risk and Compliance analysts / managers with risk and control matrix experience and business banking / lending knowledge. Financial Markets, Transaction Banking, CIB
Process Mapping activities, including defining of controls
Drafting of RCMs (Risk & Control Matrix)

  • Participate in Compliance workshops and provide support to the Group Compliance team for the alignment with the Operational Risk team and implementation of a new compliance framework
  • Partner with key client stakeholders in the relevant business areas to develop an understanding of their current state in relation to the future operating environment and provide appropriate solutions and support for implementation
  • Working with key client stakeholders to design, implement, assess and improve governance, risk and compliance framework and programs of work
  • Accountable to successfully deliver assigned projects and results through collaboration with project leads/ client stakeholders
  • Maintaining strong client relationships pre/post engagements. Identify critical deficiencies as well as opportunities for transformation / proposed solutions
  • Developing training material and conducting workshops to help the clients understand the change in Compliance Risk profiling
  • Mentor and train a team of consultants to move them towards the completion of goals and continuous growth/ development
  • Solution/ Product Development for risk consulting practice. Industrializing the solution/product and then rolling it off clients/sales team
  • Support the Genpact Australian Risk Management Practice and Performance in activities such as the implementation of firm-wide/team specific people initiative across the function

What are we looking for?
  • At least 5 - 8 + years of professional experience, preferably in a professional services environment, consulting or industry
  • A recognized university degree in accounting, business, information technology, engineering, mathematics or other relevant discipline
  • Understanding of the Banking and Financial Services Industry
  • Operational Risk Management and Compliance Risk Management experience
  • Outstanding communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Decision making and problem-solving abilities. Delivery Focus – Good ability to work towards the deadline and lead multiple, potentially conflicting timeframes whilst achieving timely delivery and a consistent customer service experience
  • Ability to develop cross-functional knowledge of risk management policies and procedures adhering to Regulators as well as specific internal corporate requirements
  • Identify opportunities and provide recommendations for increased efficiency of the team through new solutions, tools and techniques. Including other necessary solution modifications needed due to regulatory within the geography

ISSUE AND INCIDENT MANAGEMENT
Feb - September/December Contract

  • Take a lead role in the overall scoping, execution and delivery of projects along with providing project/ client delivery management reporting

  • Leading/ Mentoring team members on client delivery and engagements
  • Researching industry leading practices related to governance, risk, and compliance and assisting in practice development activities including but not limited to client proposals, white papers and point of views
