About the role
The administrative officer is responsible for the provision of efficient and effective administrative support for all areas within Patient Services as required and rostered on a 7 day per week 24 hour roster in Emergency Reception, Information Desk, Urgent Admissions, Elective Bookings and Switchboard roles.
Providing a quality service to patients, clinical staff and the public to assist with enquiries, admissions, medical records and all job requirements in an accurate and timely manner.
What you bring
Demonstrated experience in administration and reception duties, including computer skills in a health care environment.
Basic or working knowledge of Medical Terminology.
Excellent communication, customer service and people skills and the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations and information.
Willing and able to work shift work with flexibility to adapt to short-notice work requirements when required.
