  • $136, 796 per annum + Superannuation

About the role

You will lead a team of psychological safety technical experts and utilise the teams expertise in psychological health and safety to recommend and implement business solutions or opportunities for improvement in work practices of internal or external stakeholders aligned with the framework of the OHS legislation.

  • You will provide leadership, expert advice and education to internal & external stakeholders predominantly in relation to psychological safety issues aligned with the division strategy
  • You will be overseeing the contribution of the Psychological Safety Specialists team to the development, delivery and evaluation of training programs for internal staff
  • You will also actively plan and provide authoritative analysis, specialist knowledge, expertise and advice on current trends, research and evidence to influence improvement in relation to aspects of psychological safety
  • You will represent WorkSafe on specialist national, state and industry committees and forums as required, including active participation in relevant communities of practice, stakeholder working groups and industry groups
  • You will analyse workplace data including surveys & organisation design to assist with understanding change management and hazard identification processes
  • Finally, to support the work in this role, you will also be an appointed inspector.

About you

You are an experienced Psychologist who wants to make a difference. Your communication and organisational skills are exemplary - You have a passion for Victorians returning home from work safely. You are a team oriented person who enjoys leading an impact on your team and stakeholders.

  • You must have full registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • You must possess an accredited post-graduate qualification/degree) in Psychology
  • You have demonstrated extensive experience in psychosocial risk management with a proven track record of achieving positive outcomes for workplaces
  • You have expertise in one or more of the following areas: organisational, behavioural, social or cognitive psychology
  • You also have the proven ability to coach and mentor technical personnel, including the development and implementation of tailored coaching plans
  • Finally, you have demonstrated ability to develop innovative solutions in a complex environment and work proactively to resolve issues.
