Due to continued growth we are currently looking for a Planner to join the Georgiou team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing project schedules for various tenders and to further develop and maintain these programmes when projects are awarded.

What we are seeking:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the civil construction industry
• Proven background in the programming of complex construction projects
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• A high level of organisation and time management skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Able to demonstrate working knowledge of Primavera, Microsoft Project and Advanced Excel skills
• Commercial experience with variations and claims for delay
• Exposure to earned value management and reporting
• Experience in resource loading and man hour collation

What to expect in this role:

• Review construction drawings and specifications to develop a strong understanding of the project scope, task durations and project deadlines
• Liaise with management to determine the sequencing required to complete the project scope
• Develop and maintain project schedules for tender proposals in line with Georgiou standards and requirements
• Enhance schedules prepared during the tender phase for awarded projects and handing over to the Project Manager prior to commencement of the project
• Assist project teams with the training and development of personnel in regard to planning and scheduling as required
