Our client is a leading provider of integrated drilling and blasting services in Australia. Due to a large project in the NT they are expanding their workforce and seeking Shotfirers to add to their established team.

About the role

• Inspecting blasting areas
• Co-ordinating equipment and people to deliver the blast to firing time
• Familiarity with a range of non-electric and electric blasting products
• Understanding of timing for best quality results
• Ordering and overseeing delivery of blast product
• Co-ordination of signage, clearance and notification for the blast
• Oversee the on-the-job training and safe work compliance of the shot crew members
• Safe use, transport and handling of explosives on site
  

Skills and experience

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• Unrestricted NT Shotfirer's Licence
• National Police Check
• HR Drivers Licence
