Regional Sales Manager (Solar Technology)
Melbourne, Victoria
Our client is a global leader in in energy technology across solar and VPP. They are currently looking for a Regional Sales Manager to focus on business development and sales across retail, distribution and installation businesses. This role will be responsible for strategies, overlooking supply agreements and supporting new product implementation.
Responsibilities:
· Identify and close sales opportunities in specific region (VIC & TAS).
· Develop and maintain relationships with solar distribution channels and strategic accounts.
· Follow sales leads, ensure targets are being met and maintain relationships.
· Support the product management teams to define and improve the product portfolio.
· Help define the product positioning for the certain region.
· Execute brand strategy, focus on KPIs and targets and liaise with teams locally and globally.
Experience:
· 3-5 years’ experience in the Energy space, previous experience is Solar/PV is preferred.
· 5+ years Sales and Business Development experience.
· Track record of successfully closing deals,
· Strong negotiation skills.
· Deep understanding of energy products and ability to iterate product benefits to potential customers.
· Ability to identify and convert new accounts while maintaining existing relationships.
· Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work in an autonomous role.
· Motivated and Driven.
