JOB DESCRIPTION
Your Role
- Reporting to the Supply Chain Team Leader and based in Bayswater
- Order confirmations and backorders
- Setting, maintaining and reviewing the optimal inventory levels of finished goods in alignment with Global Supply Chain targets
- Working as a business partner with business units as part of S & OP process to integrate sales forecasts into planning provisions
- Working closely with the Global Planning Division
- Support the demand planning function
- Communicating effectively with internal partners (customer service, key accounts and sales organisation) around availability dates
- Placing Purchase orders with overseas and local suppliers.
- Replenishment of inventory using Stock Replenishment Process
- Correlate Inbound shipments, including liaising with Freight Forwarder and Customs Agent
- Data Entry for Goods In Transit, Stock taking, updating ERP system
- Invoice approval and monitor costs
- Write and maintain Standard Operating Procedures
Who You Are
- Previous experience in supply and purchasing and demand planning (at least + 1year of work experience)
- A strong customer orientation
- Intermediate skills in excel and or access, experience with an ERP system. SAP experience essential
- A good attitude and be a flexible team player
- Analytical thinking
- Knowledge or experience with dangerous goods and/or scientific products would be an advantage
- Excellent communication skills, both spoken and written
- Experience in a similar role and/or tertiary qualifications in Logistics or Supply Chain will be highly regarded.
- Experience working in a complex matrix structure within a global company and be able to demonstrate effective cross functional collaboration.
