JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB PURPOSE 

The Supply Chain Coordinator works closely with the Supply Chain Lead and is responsible for administering Australia’s daily supply chain operations including material planning, inbound purchase order and logistics coordination, inventory management, and key initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES


• Carry out the material planning activities for locally sourced products to ensure sales targets are achieved with excellent customer satisfaction

• End to end coordination of all local and international purchase orders and associated logistics to facilitate continuous supply of product to customers and support marketing initiatives

• Work with cross functions in the monthly S&OP (Sales and Operation Planning) process by gathering and sharing relevant data, monitoring forecast accuracy, and contributing to root cause analysis and recovery plans in conjunction with category, sales, and customer service functions

• Coordinate national inventory tasks including cycle counting, reconciliations, and stock reservations to promote and improve inventory accuracy

• Work with cross functions to resolve customer complaints in quality and delivery to improve customer satisfaction

• Maintenance of supply chain related master data in the SAP ByD ERP system so that correct records are retained

• Contribute to supply chain projects assigned by the Supply Chain Lead. 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITY REQUIRED FOR POSITION 

• Bachelor degree or equivalent work experience preferred (Qualifications in Logistics or Supply Chain will be highly regarded) 

• Patience and high attention to detail with a strong customer service orientation 

• Strong ability to manage and meet supply chain demands and sharp deadlines

• Enthusiastic with a "can do" attitude

• Strong communication skills

• Team player with a positive attitude to challenges

• Advanced knowledge in MS Office (Excel)

• Experience with SAP is a plus.
