This highly regarded Melbourne institution are currently seeking a Senior Business Analyst as part of their business intelligence and analytical support division.

As the Senior Business Analyst you be required to capture and document the requirements for enterprise financial reporting. This work would also include contributing to the prioritisation of requirements and defining desired reporting products.

Key activities

• Working with a range of senior stakeholders across the organisation's finance cohort
• Cataloguing clear statements of requirements
• Conduct analysis where required to define underlying business rules
• Work with technical teams to map out feasible products and solutions
• Document and obtain customer approval for specific work package requirements
• Assist in the initiation, execution and user acceptance testing of products produced as a result of the work.
  
  

• Minimum 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst in large corporate enterprise environments
• Experience in reporting, information management or related fields
• Exposure to the financial aspects of business operation either as a business analyst or operator
• Experience in the Education sector is desirable
