As the Strategic Partnerships Manager you will be responsible for proactively driving channel growth via new partnership opportunities to support AGL’s Customer Markets strategies.

You will provide and embed thought leadership and share best practice knowledge on strategic partnerships at an enterprise level.

Additionally, you will build channel development frameworks, develop contractual agreements, and support the onboarding and go-to-market implementation plans.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Creating and driving new partnership opportunities that align with the distribution strategy while working closely with go to market teams
  • Ongoing assessment of partnerships to drive continual optimisation and identify new opportunities
  • Develop and implement best in class assessment frameworks and processes
  • Build business cases that demonstrate ROI of new opportunities
  • Commercial negotiation and developing contractual agreements
  • Due diligence of new or potential partners to assess alignment with strategy, fit with AGL, customer experience and systems capability
  • Managing development, onboarding and go to market implementation plans

About You What You’ll Bring To The Table

You will have strong business acumen and experience in creating strategies to maximise commercial opportunities.

  • Proven experience within a similar channels or partnerships role ideally within the consumer services sector
  • The ability to lead and influence cross functional teams to deliver business outcomes
  • The ability to drive a process and results oriented approach to new channel and partner development
  • Demonstrated success in being able to conceptualise complex commercial variables
  • The ability to motivate indirect teams, encourage, delegate and achieve objectives through people
