Our client is a luxury fashion retailer who sells a huge range of mens and womens designer brands. They pride themselves on providing outstanding customer experience through every facet. They are seeking a talented Senior UX/UI Designer to take their brand to the next level.

Description

The Senior UI / UX designer will report into to the Head of Design and will be responsible for:

• Development of requirements, specifications, wireframes, prototypes and other design artefacts using Sketch and Invision
  

• Exchange of designs to developers in Zeplin
  

• Supporting the project and product management functions by contributing to planning and monitoring activities
  

• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders and suppliers as well as advising on UX solutions
  

• Collaborate with the project team, including internal stakeholders and external vendors to develop the UI / UX requirements
  

• Contribute to the development of test plans, cases, and the execution of testing
  

Profile

Essential Requirements

• Beautiful portfolio of digital design preferably in luxury & premium ecommerce brands.

• Proven experience in a UI/UX design role, leading large projects, preferably ecommerce.

• Passionate about design and user experience and always keeping up to date with latest design and UX trends.

• Excellent problem solver, always trying to come up with the best solution to a problem.

• Experience wireframing new user journeys and interactions based on business and user requirements.

• A high level of attention to detail and accuracy. You take pride in the quality of your work from the research through to the implementation.

• Ability to write responsive HTML and CSS to produce viable responsive UI designs and HTML content layouts.

• Understanding of responsive web design and practices such as responsive images.

• Confident presenting and discussing ideas with clients.

• Self-motivated and pro-active. Keen to learn and continually improve workflow and team productivity, sharing your ideas with the team.

• Great communication skills for explaining ideas and discussing solutions with developers, clients and other team members.
