The Role

We are seeking a skilled Network Engineer/Designer with experience in Cisco, Juniper, etc. to work across the engineering life-cycle including requirements gathering, test, V&V and integration. This role is based in Brisbane and is permanent full-time.

About You

You will have relevant skills and experience, including a good understanding of the security of architecture, electronic data communications and other Industry Standard IT skills to provide computing security, system support and integration services to a range of stakeholders.

Ideally, you’ll have relevant experience and qualifications, including:

Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Network Systems Engineer, Network Designer or Administrator
Design, system and specifications as required
Establishing test plans & procedures and test analysis
Implementation, integration, verification and validation
Provide requirements analysis and management with the use of software management tools
Develop Engineering proposals and technical documentation in support of integration activities and test procedures
Applicants must be Australian Citizens and be able to obtain and maintain an NV2 defence Experience in systems architecture, design & development and test & evaluation

The below is highly desired:
Experience working on Military communications systems
IT/Engineering Degree
NV2 Security Clearance
Defence industry experience

In addition, you will be able to:
Convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
Identify capabilities, practices and resources to provide effective product support and technical issue resolution.
