The Wesley Hospital are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our Outpatient Day Rehabilitation Service in a 12-month contracted position.

About the Role:

Our Day Rehabilitation Service offers treatment for both acute and chronic conditions. With a focus on delivering high-quality, clinical care to patients within an acute setting, you will work alongside a highly collaborative, multi-disciplinary Allied Health team to deliver exceptional person-centred outcomes.

You’ll recognise the importance of multi-disciplinary approaches to rehabilitation, bringing an open, collaborative approach to patient-centred care. You will bring:

  • 5+ years’ musculoskeletal experience in an outpatient and orthopaedic rehabilitation environment
  • Current and unconditional AHPRA registration
  • Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team
  • Ability to manage a busy caseload autonomously
  • Ability to provide guidance to junior clinicians and students
  • Ability to work flexibly Monday-Friday

Selection CriteriaEssential: 5 + years of musculoskeletal experience with skills in outpatient and orthopaedic rehabilitation
Essential: Current physiotherapy registration with AHPRA
Essential: Experience working within a multi-disciplinary team
Essential: Work within expectations to meet health fund guidelines and requirements.
Essential: The position is 0.8FTE with flexibility to work 5 days (Monday - Friday)
Essential: Ability to manage a busy caseload autonomously and provide guidance to junior clinicians and students
Essential: Post graduate training is desirable but not required
