Job Description
About the Opportunity:
Reporting to the Senior Procurement Officer, you should be able to manage building and equipment related maintenance activities undertaken by subcontractors to ensure a satisfactory outcome for all stakeholders.
The successful candidate should be able to coordinate the day to day purchasing activities associated with the procurement of goods and/or services for Tradeflex's clients throughout Australia.
Other Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities include:
- Respond to and manage client requests for building maintenance and equipment repairs on a national basis
- Manage requests for works, obtain and analyse quotations before seeking stakeholder approval
- Manage and coordinate a national body of suppliers and subcontractors
- Manage the Tradeflex client interface
- Comply with policies and procedures to ensure subcontractor compliance
- Follow up work orders, quote requests, site quote approvals and completion of jobs
- Collate and store information using a combination of structured files and databases
- Work collaboratively with internal staff to manage the following key stakeholder interfaces:
- The client (Toll)
- The subcontractor workforce
- Liaise with clients and service providers to ensure timely actioning and completion of all requests or services
- Check and upload invoices including loading materials to job
- Data entry

- Excellent time and project management skills with a high degree of initiative & self-motivation
- Quick comprehension of business issues and data challenges
- Strong analytical and trouble shooting skills focused on the ability to address/solve unstructured problems quickly and efficiently
- Accuracy, focus and precision when working with data, drawing conclusions and presenting information
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A willingness to share and work cooperatively with individuals, both internal to the organisation and externally
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Applications including an intermediate Excel
- Well-developed customer service and interpersonal skills with a focus on building and maintaining relationships and rapport across a diverse client base
- Flexibility and an ability to handle multiple tasks of varying complexity simultaneously
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast moving and dynamic team environment
