About the role:

We have a permanent opportunity in Canning Vale for an experienced Civil Operator.

As part of the district civil team you will be regularly outdoors, Operating, inspecting and maintaining reticulated water and waste water systems.


What the role will involve:

  • Participate in safe job planning, team meetings and workplace inspections.
  • Demonstrate leadership by ensuring that all work is undertaken with safety as the first priority in the provision of a work environment where no injury is considered acceptable, and all activities are undertaken without compromising health and safety.
  • Operate, maintain, monitors and repair water, wastewater assets, operational sites and public facilities as required.
  • Participating in standby, overtime and call out availability rosters as required.

Key skills and experience:

  • Certificate III National Water Package or willingness to work towards
  • Experience with SAP operating system
  • Western Australian “MR” Class Drivers Licence
  • Experience in water supply and wastewater systems
  • Ability to work after hours and participate on a standby roster
