The Organisation

Our client is a well-known growing organization. They are seeking an experienced Chris 21 Payroll Officer to join their friendly and dynamic team for an immediate start on a temporary basis primarily working from home.

 
Position Description

Reporting into the Payroll Manager, your daily tasks will include:

  • End to end payroll processing for a large volume of staff
  • PAYG, Payroll Tax, Workcover and Superannuation payments
  • Ensuring accurate and timely process of payroll administration including compliance with statutory requirements
  • Processing new starters, terminations and payroll adjustments
  • Proving accurate information in response to employee queries
  • Calculating redundancies
  • Other tasks as directed 

Candidate Profile

The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar Payroll Officer position along with the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous end-to-end payroll experience using Chris 21
  • High volume payroll processing experience
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • The ability to interpret numerous awards and EBAs
  • Experience working in a large organisation
