About the role
The Volunteer & Member Experience Coordinator is a regional influencer and enabler of the volunteer and member experience.
You will work Red Cross volunteers, members and community groups to to innovate and to mobilise, attract and engage people to take humanitarian action for Red Cross in Tasmania. Supported by the Volunteer Mobilisation Lead, you will facilitate statewide project teams to improve the volunteer and member experience and help grow the Red Cross volunteer footprint across the state.
What you will bring
- Experience in working with and supporting volunteers and/or members and community groups
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate events
- Strong commitment to Reconciliation
- Experience in stakeholder engagement and management
- A strong influencer, networker, communicator, negotiator and problem solver
- Demonstrated ability to ‘think outside the box’ and to apply innovation and technology to solutions
- A Working with Vulnerable People Check is a mandatory requirement
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
