JOB DESCRIPTION
Our primary and preventative department is seeking a motivated Counsellor to join our multidisciplinary team to deliver rural outreach services.
The position involves providing quality and comprehensive community counselling services, by using a broad range of evidence based practices.
The ideal applicant will have an interest in paediatric, youth and family assessment; have strong ethical decision making and interpersonal skills; be an innovative thinker to contribute to the development of our NDIS contract and social support groups; and be an advocate on behalf of the community at an individual and group level.
You will bring:
- Relevant qualifications and registration in Psychology, Social Work or Counselling
- Ability to liaise and consult with health professionals in a multi-disciplinary team
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Highly effective interpersonal and team skills

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a National Criminal Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children’s Clearance and be willing to undertake a Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check. Current immunisation records and influenza vaccinations are also required.
