This newly created role based in Blackwater, provides an opportunity for a highly experienced Treatment Specialist to coordinate the daily works of the water and waste water facilities located within the Blackwater, Duaringa, Dingo, Bluff, Bauhinia and the surrounding area.

Your expertise will support the council by:

  • Planning, coordinating and scheduling daily work of the treatment facilities to ensure continuity of service
  • Overseeing delivery of Capital Projects
  • Leading staff to ensure effective operations

To be considered for this opportunity, you will need to possess:

  • Cert III in Treatment Operations (or equivalent)
  • Experience in a similar role involving the planning and coordination of work for treatment facilities
  • Excellent knowledge of Local Government Operations and legislative framework
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with water and wastewater process control
