The Role
Our Group Finance business unit have an exciting opportunity for an experienced
Procurement Advisor
to join the team on a permanent basis. The Procurement Advisor provides leadership and supports the Senior Procurement Advisor with the procurement process including; selecting vendors, strategic sourcing, creating and negotiating contracts and providing advice for ongoing vendor and contract management.
You’ll communicate and influence both formally and informally with internal and external stakeholders across all levels. You’ll ensure effective monitoring and management of whole-of-office arrangements, and report on these to the Strategic Procurement Manager. You’ll also assist with developing and delivering category strategy including developing a rolling program of activities which generate benefits and achieve financial targets through insight and analysis.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications
The ideal
Procurement Advisor
will demonstrate some or most of the below:
A strong client focus and the ability to work well with multiple stakeholder groups
Demonstrated experience in effectively managing multiple tenders and selecting suppliers
Experience or exposure to category management, with proven track record of project delivery
Experience in collating and analysing data to facilitate the analysis of category and vendor spend
Experience in establishing and managing supply arrangements
Demonstrated ability to respond to changing business and environmental conditions
Understanding of how to identify, assess and escalate risks according to the Risk Management framework
Ideally tertiary qualified in a business-related discipline and/or Level 4 accreditation with CIPS
