Permanent full time role Yorke Peninsula location Key safety role Viterra isseeking a Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) Advisor, basedaround the Wallaroo/Port Pirie area to provide SHE leadership andsupport to our Central region. This role joins our team odestablished and skilled safety professionals, and will participatein, and lead, organisational safety initiatives within the YorkePeninsula region and more broadly. Duties Provide advice on the management and control of SHE hazards and risks in line with SHE policies and standards Model safety behaviours and assist local employees to develop the ability to manage SHE hazards and risks Conduct incident investigations, identify corrective actions and provide input into solutions to prevent further issues Carry out fitness for work or health monitoring activities Undertake audits and inspections in line with the SH&E Management system Provide SHE related training, coaching and guidance Skillsand experience Formal safety qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) At least 3 years’ experience in a safety role (within a self-insured environment preferred) Knowledge of South Australia WHS Act, regulations and codes of practice. Internal audit and training qualifications are desirable
