An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Engineer, based at our production facility in Tennyson. This position will report to the National Capital Works Manager and will facilitate and manage a range of capital engineering projects at our Tennyson site.


Key Responsibilities:

· Managing and delivering capital projects related to the manufacturing operation;

· Ensuring projects are delivered in full, on time and within budget;

· Managing the integration of the capital projects into site operations;

· Preparation of scope of works and performance criteria;

· Review of current processes and identifying engineering opportunities for process improvement;

· Ensuring all plant and equipment is safe to operate and compliant with Plant Safety Regulations;

· Preparation of regular reports on the status of all projects including progress to plan, financial performance and KPI status.



The successful applicant will possess:

· Tertiary qualifications in an appropriate Engineering discipline;

· Strong practical engineering experience ideally gained in a commercial bakery or food manufacturing environment;

· Proven experience managing medium to large capital projects in manufacturing;

· The ability to communicate with and provide advice to internal stakeholders across the wider business;

· The ability to use AutoCAD and Project Management Software; and

· A working proficiency with systems including Microsoft Office software and ERP (e.g. SAP/M3).
