About the role:We are seeking an Administration Support Officer to support the Records Unit located within the Intelligence, Innovation and Risk Division of the Professional Standards Command (PSC). The Unit's purpose is to provide internal employee probity checks, which assist with decision making that mitigates risk pertaining to the organisation's ethical health. The Records Unit also manages the administration, sourcing and archiving of employee discipline records.Victoria Police is a contemporary and agile workplace and support flexible working arrangements.Your duties will include: Maintaining accurate computer and manual management information of employee discipline records.Providing administrative support to the division, including the maintenance of accurate and comprehensive records/registers and the collation of data and information on confidential and sensitive material.Attending to telephone enquiries from personnel; providing initial information and advice as required according to policy and legislation.Preparation of reports and correspondence.Receiving, recording and distributing mail and correspondence. As the successful applicant, you will have: A demonstrated ability to accurately maintain computer and manual information systems, including the ability to accurately maintain and update administrative records.Well-developed communication skills.The ability to work in a sensitive and confidential environment including the ability to deal with challenging information. Requirements and relevant information: Position located at the Victoria Police Centre (VPC), 311 Spencer Street, Docklands.The successful applicant will be required to undergo National Security Vetting, achieve and maintain a security classification as determined by the Department Head. To achieve this, applicants must be an Australian Citizen.The successful candidate will be required to undergo pre-employment checks which may include fingerprint checks and misconduct screening.
