Playing a key operational role in improving our shipyard effectiveness, vessel availability and reliabilityBalmain location, Company funded Travel Card with ongoing personal developmentFirst Nations and/or female candidates are strongly encouraged to apply The roleAs part of the asset maintenance team, our Production Managers play a vital part in ensuring the maintenance schedule is executed as planned and that all aspects required for an integrated, focused and effective effort on every project are achieved to improve shipyard effectiveness, vessel availability and reliability.This role will also see you: Coordinating the annual maintenance schedule, allocating and monitoring ordersEffectively liaising with various stakeholders to ensure effective utilisation of resources and timely completion of all planned and corrective maintenance is achievedProviding leadership across shipyard activities and working collaboratively to promote commercially oriented quality processesFollowing corporate Safety Management Systems, providing consultation, and assisting in the monitoring and review of risk controls. What you bring Essentially, we are looking for a great team player with extensive experience and qualifications in a similar work environment with a strong customer service and safety focus (ideally marine engineering, naval architecture or shipyard maintenance, including vessel operations, maintenance, repair and quality management)To be successful in this role, you will also have strong previous examples that demonstrate your ability to manage teams and projects, build strong stakeholder relationships as well a positive attitude toward uncompromising safety as well as adapting and assisting changes.
