Based in Kurnell, an exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Presales Specialist to join the innovative Cisco Team, reporting to the Senior Business Manager.



What you will do in this role:

  • Maintain and continually update knowledge of new technology, products, best practices, trends etc. by consulting technical literature, attendance at Vendor events and conferences on an ongoing basis, and disseminate this knowledge to the rest of your team
  • Maintain and add qualifications/certifications that align to your technology areas
  • Assist with new product introductions to the sales team and reseller channel utilising vendor and presales resources
  • Provide Presales support for the reseller channel and internal departments as required including answers to technical queries, product suggestions, proposals and tender responses
  • Creation of bills of material (quotes) to match a customer’s solution requirements
  • Providing customers (both internal and external) solution responses via telephone or email queries
  • Promote products and solutions to the reseller channel and internal departments via the use of demonstrations, presentations, meetings and seminars
  • Update reseller Account Managers of any major solution recommendations to the reseller
  • Build and promote both reseller awareness and loyalty by promoting the Dicker Data corporate profile, services and products
  • Build and maintain relationships with relevant Dicker Data vendors through engagement with vendor technical and sales staff
  • Liaise with internal Sales and Product Management departments to promote a stronger technical relationship with Presales
