With our ongoing growth and team of game-changers, innovators and entrepreneurs, our Digital Marketing ambitions are bigger than ever! So, we’re looking for a creative thought leader with extensive Digital Marketing experience to join our team and take our strategy to the next level.

Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, the Head of Digital Marketing will play a pivotal role in the development and growth of the MECCA Brands business across in-store and online. The primary purpose of this dynamic and exciting role is to build strategic plans to drive growth and oversee the execution of a compelling digital strategy across all digital marketing levers (including EDM, social, and paid channels). Your energy and strategic acumen will continue to step-change our digital marketing levers, while you also focus on delivering business and brand growth, recruiting new customers to MECCA Brands and retaining and rewarding existing customers.

Your key responsibilities include:

  • Creating, developing and implementing a strategic and engaging Digital Marketing Program that engages all digital marketing levers, with a particular focus on social amplification and growth

  • Driving the smooth execution of Digital Marketing Strategies within the broader MECCA business to ensure a seamless brand experience by the customer

  • Championing the needs of the online customer and working closely with the eCommerce team to drive aggressive growth in the online channel

  • Driving strategic Digital Thought Leadership across the business, ensuring opportunities are well understood by the team, key stakeholders, and senior leaders within the business

  • Contributing to the development of content, PR and CRM strategies and helping execute via digital channels

  • Identifying new opportunities to drive customer acquisition

  • Managing the annual digital marketing expenditure

  • Ensuring the effectiveness of all digital marketing initiatives are measured and reported on

  • Driving ongoing innovation in our Digital Marketing and Social Media Program

  • Leading a committed and high-performing team

What You Will Bring

You will have extensive global experience in Digital Marketing Campaigns within an eCommerce/Digital environment, ideally across both agency and business side. You will be highly commercial and creative, with excellent planning and analytical capabilities along with outstanding organisational and planning skills to effectively manage timelines and meet deadlines.

Additionally, you will be able to demonstrate the following:

  • 10 years of Marketing experience with a minimum of 5 years in Social Media Marketing with a focus on driving revenue and market share

  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing

  • Demonstrated success in developing and executing marketing strategies and campaigns in different markets

  • An excellent track record in leading and growing a team

  • In-depth knowledge of online advertising, EDM and social trends, opportunities and strategies

  • Experience in marketing multiple brands within the one portfolio in global markets

  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing, beauty and fashion trends
