Programmed are currently seeking experienced machine operators for a national client based in Eagle Farm QLD. Our client is a leading manufacturer, processor and distributor of steel products Australia wide.

The Role;

• Operating consoles for fixed plant machinery
• Basic welding - cutting, bending and grinding
• Operation of overhead gantry crane to move product
• Counterbalance forklift operation to load and unload trucks
• Manual handling - moving / feeding products through machines
• 5 x Afternoon Shift positions available (2:00PM starts)
• Overtime available

What we are looking for;

• Current and valid drivers license and reliable transport
• Current and valid forklift license and proven experience
• Previous machine operation experience
• Previous welding experience is beneficial but not essential
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Safety conscious attitude
• Ability to work both in a team and autonomously
• Willingness to work in a hot / dusty environment
