Senior Adviser, Senior Executive Service Reform - VPS5 Fixed Term

The Executive Classification Framework Implementation Team is responsible for a significant reform program which relates to the Victorian public sector workforce. The program of work entails the application of a consistent and transparent assessment methodology for classifying Victorian public sector executive positions using tailored work value assessments. The team is responsible for undertaking a large volume of executive work value assessments across the sector over 2020-21 while uplifting the internal capability within organisations to undertake work value assessments in the future.

The Senior Adviser plays a key role in supporting the implementation of the Executive Classification Framework across the Victorian Public Sector. The role requires strong project management skills to coordinate, monitor and deliver on agreed outcomes. This position will be required to develop and maintain strong relationships with departments and sector entities. The position will be required to develop sensitive finding reports and communications that will be delivered to relevant public sector body Heads.

To be successful in this role you will have demonstrated experience in project management and delivery, strong skills in written and verbal communication and an ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with a broad and diverse group of stakeholders, while managing multiple priorities.
