  • Salary Range: $87,640 - $99,438 + Super

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to be responsible for the development of a range of infrastructure projects in accordance with relevant policies and toolkits. The role provides an opportunity to liaise with various stakeholders to ensure an appropriate scope of works is developed. This role is highly technical, requires strong project management skills and is expected to bring out the best of the successful candidates engineering skills.

As a Senior Project Development Engineer, you will be reporting to the Team Leader – Project Development and will work closely with a team of engineers and other professionals. You will be undertaking and coordinating various tasks relating to the development of road project proposals. You will also be providing guidance to junior members of the team.

About You:

  • You'll hold a degree in Civil Engineering (admitting to membership of Engineers Australia).
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of previous relevant experience
  • Exercise professional independent judgement in the application of the requirements of the Project Management Toolkit in the management of multiple complex project proposals.
  • Exercise professional independent judgment to prepare estimates for complex projects using historical data gathered from similar works and current market rates.
  • Provide sound advice and tailor communications to meet customer needs.
  • Negotiate with and influence stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes.
  • Supervises, guides and monitors others to deliver outcomes that meet relevant performance indicators and targets.
