An opportunity exists for a Scheduler within our Advisory Services Division, reporting into our Canberra office.
For our Advisory Services division, everything starts with a problem that needs a solution. We act as an independent, technical partner for customers looking to procure defined services and develop specific capabilities. We help them diagnose, rationalise and solve intractable problems by providing analysis, advice and assurance. Whether operating on the ocean floor, or in orbit around Mars, we get under the skin of a problem to enable our customers to make sound decisions about cost, time and performance.
What will a typical day look like?
Every day will see you providing project planning, co-ordination & scheduling services to ensure the project management office achieves its outcomes. You are a natural organiser and thrive in a fast paced environment.
As the Scheduler you will be responsible for:
Development of Program and Project schedules for Space Services Training Areas and Simulation Branch
Management of branch scheduling processes
Cross Program liaison for development of integrated master schedule
Identification and communication of schedule risk
To be successful for the role of Scheduler you will require:
High level written and communication skills
Competence with current scheduling tools
Understanding of Defence Capability Lifecycle processes
Ability to obtain and maintain an NV1/NV2 Clearance.
