The Role

As the Building Certifier, you will be responsible for running and managing your own building approvals and assessments, and working directly with clients. Due to the small nature of the team, there will be lots of hands-on opportunities to learn so you can gain further accreditations.
Duties will include:

• Review of design/construction documents
• Review of proposed services and layout details
• Site inspections
• Preparation of reports
• Providing solutions to clients

You will work extensively on commercial assets, but also on mixed-use, hotels, train stations and community developments.

The Company

Our client is an accredited building certifier and building regulator based in Sydney's Northern Beaches. They work across a range of asset classes and projects, including mixed-use, hotels and train station upgrades. They are looking to grow their team in 2021.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will exhibit:

• Grade 3 or 2 Building Certification qualification
• Demonstrated experience on a variety of asset classes, ideally commercial
• Switched-on attitude with a desire to continue learning
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage themselves with limited supervision

The Opportunity

Working under a Grade 1 Certifier, you will have the opportunity to work towards a Grade 1 certification yourself, or gain further training. You will have the opportunity to work with top quality clients on a range of assets, without any liability on sign-offs.
