About the Role

In this six month fixed term position, you will be responsible for the full range of activities required to complete a project as efficiently and promptly as possible. The key goal is the successful delivery of projects allocated from the Technology Services Change Roadmap on time, within scope and on budget.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

  • Initiate new projects as allocated based on Roadmap priority
  • Co-ordinate staff and internal resources who are allocated to the project teams
  • Co-ordinate external resources: contractors, third party/vendor partners, etc.
  • Establish Steering Committee and Working Group governance structure per project
  • Own the project plan, manage project progress and adapt as required
  • Manage relationships with all stakeholders: clients in the business and IT support, external consultants, solution providers, etc.
  • Ensure traceability of the delivery lifecycle by storing all key deliverables in the project SharePoint repository
  • Collaborate with PMO Manager and colleagues to adhere to and continuously improve our change delivery standards and framework
  • Monitor business analysis plans and activities regarding analysis of current and future state business processes, requirements production, functional design specifications
  • Monitor test plans and activities regarding test strategy, plans, test cases and scripts; execution of systems and user-acceptance testing, defect/issue logging and resolution
  • Work with Change Manager to: generate impact assessments, manage impact to stakeholders, deliver training, communications, etc.
  • Work with the Director, Application Strategy & Projects to ensure the project meets project objectives
  • Plan for clean transition of project products to the business, including ownership of: applications, processes & controls, the applications support function
  • Through project delivery, develop an understanding of the business functions and processes and the context in which they operate
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, ensuring feasibility from business and technology perspectives
  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

About You

To be successful in this role, it is expected that you possess the following:

  • Minimum 5 years’ PM experience
  • One or more formal qualifications/certifications (Prince2, PMP).
  • Experience in project implementation of SAP Concur
  • Strong understanding of ERP/financial systems
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio
  • Minimum 1-year business analysis and/or operations support in a financial services and/or real estate environment
  • Technology solution implementation experience
  • Detail oriented with good organisational skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Possess critical thinking abilities
  • Be self-managed, able to work independently and within a team
  • Strong problem-solving and ownership mentality
  • Able to learn, understand and apply new technologies
  • Able to work with staff at all levels
  • Leadership skills
  • Conflict resolution skills

Desirable:

  • Degree in Business or technology-related discipline advantageous
  • Knowledge of real estate accounting desirable
  • Experience with the MRI application or another property ERP system
  • Experience with implementing enterprise data management platforms
