Account Manager Residential - Victoria - M&I

CSR Limited is a leading Australian Manufacturing business with a rich history. We are recognised for our innovative approach to developing sustainable and high performing building products and systems for the residential and commercial segments across Australia and New Zealand.

Part of the CSR family, our Masonry and Insulation (M&I) Business Unit comprises of Bradford Insulation, PGH Bricks and Monier Roofing. We manufacture and market a full range of products for residential and commercial applications including a large range of products and systems.

The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity to join our Victorian residential sales team in our newly formed business unit Masonry & Insulation.

You will be responsible for accounts in the residential builder segment in Victoria, delivering on objectives to grow accounts and find new opportunities.

M&I has a large supply and install offering covering energy, insulation and tiles. This has over 300 contractors and a significant customer and installation support team. We deal direct with the largest builders in Victoria!

Role Accountabilities

  • Analyse market opportunity & business performance with financial data & reporting systems
  • Ensure objectives are understood & achieved
  • Execute sales & marketing plans for segment
  • Monitor & report on sales performance against targets for current period
  • Monitor customer & market activity and feedback via CRM
  • Develop & implement actions to deliver agreed goals & rectify divergence to plan
  • Ensure customer account plans & call cycles are implemented & actioned
  • Ensure appropriate debtor management & performance
  • Manage relationships and expectations with a broad client base
  • Resolve issues & complaints with clients
  • Drive constructive culture across region & state
  • Identify & execute opportunities for new customers & product growth with existing customers

Knowledge, Skills, Experience, Qualifications

  • Formal qualification in business or experience in relevant fields
  • Proficient with CRM software & Office applications (intermediate excel)
  • High energy with a will to succeed
  • Familiarity with sales performance metrics
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a focus on the customer
  • Collaboration with teams
  • Change Management and leadership skills
  • Negotiation, influencing and problem solving skills and experience
