Your Impact

As a Software Developer at nib, a 'typical' day will see you collaborate with a variety of disciplines to build engaging member facing solutions and overcome challenging engineering issues, You will be exposed to an environment encouraging constant learning and upskilling using latest cloud based architectures, Working in a CI/CD environment you will experiment with possible technical solutions, writing code, maintaining and writing tests and building solutions (websites, portals and mobile applications) to deliver great online experience for our members.

You will work with talented and professional cross-functional agile teams. Your Background

You will have previous software development experience, coupled with a relevant tertiary qualification to back up your experience. You will be a great team player and communicator, with a passion for technology and online platforms. You will be comfortable to work collaboratively with other software developers and you will have experience developing solutions in modern languages like Node JS, C# or Ruby and frameworks like React/AngularJS. Knowledge and experience in cloud services (AWS) and modern front-end development technologies would also be beneficial. You will be an advocate for good software engineering practices such as TDD, test automation, continuous integration and delivery. You will have architectural thinking when designing solutions, so they are adaptable and maintainable.
