Health More is Australia’s pre-eminent CBEC distribution, sales and marketing export company for health, wellness, beauty and other products to China and South-East Asia.

Reporting directly to the Finance Manager, this is a critical role within the business, working closely with brand account managers, procurement, marketing, sales and logistics to execute daily financial processing, operational and statutory reporting, accounts management, cost allocation, planning and budgeting, ledger management, and periodic financial analysis functions.

As a key member of the Finance team, the Junior Accountant will be working collaboratively with various departments in our company to contribute towards and support the achievement of desired business outcomes.

This role will be responsible for critical accounting tasks, including:

  • Preparation of financial reports at a departmental and company-wide level.
  • Preparation and presentation of monthly and periodic financial reports to senior executives.
  • Preparation of business statutory reporting statements.
  • Coordinate and liaise with tax reporting agents to ensure that taxation returns and other documents are lodged in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Lead and support financial system process improvement and policy initiatives, and contribute towards whole-of-enterprise budgeting exercises.
  • Maintain and improve internal finance and accounting control systems.
  • Maintain and improve financial and accounting security measures.
  • Undertake periodic costs analysis of procurements and sales.
  • Provide advice on planning and strategies to achieve desired business outcomes.
  • Review operational structure on a period basis to ensure optimal commercial efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative and regulatory requirements for taxation and payroll.

You will bring:

  • Experience in a similar role (ideally in-house management accounting)
  • Minimum level of education - Bachelor Degree in Accounting or highly related fields.
  • Strong commercial and accounting management skills.
  • Self-motivated and resilient.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in both English and Mandarin.
  • Confidence in using Microsoft office tools and accounting software (particularly MYOB and Xero).
  • Excellent numeracy and analytical skills.
